Basics
The drinking game of Beirut (beer pong) is played with two teams, consisting of two players on each side. Staring with one side each player gets one throw. If they make it in the opposing teams cup, the opposing team must remove that up and drink its contents. The first team to clear all the opposing teams cups from the table wins.Equipment
To play the basic game you will need a table, 12 cups, 2 ping pong balls and four cans of beer.Popular Rules
Throw Backs If one team sinks both balls on the same round, they get to shoot both balls again.Redemption If the team sinks the final cup, but only one ball goes in on that turn the other team will get a chance to make all the remaining cups in a row in. If they do make all the cups 3 cups each will be placed back on each side.

The game of Beirut has become the most popular college drinking game in the US. It is also known commonly as beer pong.
